Lesson 4 (part2)

Since God is the source of love, we can’t really know love in its fullest sense apart from God’s love manifested in Christ. His love for us is foundational, transformational, and must necessarily be expressed in thoughts, words, and action. This love must be the foundation of all our other loves.

In Scripture God often takes our human concepts of love and elevates them, infusing them with his divine and gracious dealing with us. This study will continue to explore how God does the same with other avenues of love in our lives, in particular our families and our friendships.
