Core Beliefs
We believe, confess, and teach that salvation is ours solely by the grace of God, undeserved, through faith in Jesus Christ. We hold the Bible as the completely true, inspired Word of God, the only source and authority for Christian faith and life. As Lutherans we trace our roots, not only back to the Reformation of the sixteenth century, but to the Christians of the time of Jesus Christ, for we believe and teach what Jesus taught his disciples, as found recorded in the Bible. We are called Lutherans because we believe that the documented confessions developed by Martin Luther and his associates during the Reformation accurately confess God's Word as found in Holy Scriptures. We are members of Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS)
The Bible is the Word Of God
It is the only reliable source of knowledge about God and his will for us. Its truths are applicable for all people of all cultures, places, and times. It tells us there is only one God, who is three equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Bible contains two central messages: the law and the gospel. The law shows us that we stand imperfect and guilty before the holy God. The gospel is the "good news" that God freely forgives sinners through Jesus' death on the cross, not because of what we have done. God has declared ALL sins forgiven. Through Jesus' resurrection from the dead we can live with him in glory forever in heaven.

our Separation and Reunion with God
In the beginning we were in perfect fellowship with God.
The first two people, Adam and Eve, destroyed this relationship with God by rebelling against him. Their sin and evil has been passed down to us, their children causing separation from God.
But Jesus lived a perfect life for us and took our sins to the cross where he died to pay for them. He rose from the dead so we can again live in harmony with him, and one day join him in heaven.
"God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." ~ John 3:16

Transformed Lives
With the Holy Spirit living inside of us by faith we strive to live in love and serve God and others.
We do this in our different callings: as spouses, as parents and children, as employees and students, as citizens and neighbors.
We do all this to God's glory and to spread the soul-saving message of Jesus Christ.
"God wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." ~ 2 Timothy 2:4
