Lesson 7 (part2)
Last time we examined how God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to make it undeniably evident to Abraham and his descendants that embracing the homosexual lifestyle is not only displeasing to God but leads to destruction. This week we will look at the laws regarding prohibited and punishable sexuality within the theocracy of Israel (Leviticus chapters 18 and 20) and an occasion when the men of Gibeah went down the same path of those at Sodom (Judges 19-21). While these are graphic sections of Scripture to digest, they again make unequivocally clear God's unchanging displeasure and condemnation upon sexually deviant behaviors and lifestyles.
