Resilient While Waiting

From birth babies demand to be fed, changed, held, etc. We are naturally impatient creatures. We want (yes, often even demand) everything right now, or even yesterday. While our God has all heaven and earth under his control, he often has us wait on his timing to bestow his blessings on our lives. But our God does not make us wait out of coldness or cruelty. He does so to strengthen our faith in him, to grow our character and patience, and to nurture our thankfulness toward him.
