Lesson 6

In our instant gratification world, we can all fall into the habit of trying something once and abandoning it for something else if we don't get immediate results. Prayer is different. God, who is our faithful, all-loving, all-powerful Father, encourages us to go to him in prayer without giving up, fully expecting him to do what is best. However, God's definition of "best" doesn't always mean instantly giving us exactly what we asked for. He may ask us to wait. He may desire to give us something better.
