Teach the Praiseworthy Deeds of the Lord

We all have family traditions, recipes, and stories that we love, that we hand down from one generation to the next. Yet that transfer of knowledge and experience and family history doesn't happen automatically. It has to be taught and shared. Like a break in a chain it only takes one link for that precious heritage to be lost. The very same is true for our Christian heritage. God impresses upon us to teach the next generation the wonders he has done, so we, our children, and those yet to come will trust in the Lord unto salvation.
