Confirmation Instruction

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it”. Proverbs 22:6

The word confirmation means "strengthening" -- a spiritual strengthening that comes through thorough study and application of God's Word.  As children transition from being children to young adults it is crucial that their worldview be shaped by God's Word so they can see themselves, the world, and their place in the world from God's perspective.

Confirmation teaches the basics of Christian doctrine as included in Luther's Small Catechism and trains young people how to understand and interpret the Bible and apply its timeless truths to their everyday lives.

All children grades 6-8 are invited to attend these three years of instruction.

Confirmation class meets during the education hour on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45
